Cutline

Say the edit.

Type what you want in your Claude app. Cutline makes the edit in your real Premiere Pro or After Effects timeline, then tells you what changed.

Everyone knows AI edited that.

They don’t have to.

Some editors won’t let AI near a timeline. Others hand the whole edit to a one-click app, and you can tell: same zooms, same captions, same cut as everyone else.

Cutline sits in between. It does the clicking. You make the calls. Every change lands as ordinary clips, keyframes and markers in your own project, so you can change any of it by hand, or take the whole thing back with one click.

The Cutline Beta panel: a grid of picture tiles for things to ask for, such as Cut a section, Remove gaps and Duck the music, with the open sequence, its timecode and an Undo last change button along the bottom.

It lives next to your timeline

Cutline Beta docks as a panel in Premiere Pro and After Effects. It’s full of ideas for what to ask, as picture tiles you click to copy, and the bar along the bottom shows what you have open and an undo for Cutline’s last change. You talk to it from the Claude desktop app, the same way you’d brief an assistant editor.

It never saves your project unless you ask, keeps a backup of the sequence before big batch edits, and asks before anything risky.
